With the timber continuing to be removed by the helicopter, we are really starting to see how good the skiing/riding will be in these areas. As described in an earlier post, the main effort this summer focused on removing dead, standing trees from all the tree islands on the Panorama ridgeline. We thinned every tree island between Quickdraw and Snowburn. This effort has really opened it up and there are so many more lines through these areas now. I can’t wait to explore these glades with a solid winter base and a foot of fresh.
