The Monolith is located on the Waterdog Ridge near upper Waterdog Lake. This is on the east side of the Continental Divide at the furthest reaches of our Cat Skiing permitted area. We are working our way out the ridge conducting mitigation work towards this craggy piece of terrain. This section of the ridge is primarily used in the latter portion of the season as we move towards a more spring-like snowpack. This is some really unique terrain to have as part of our cat skiing area and offers quite a few high-quality aesthetic lines. Tours only venture here under the right snow conditions and with the right group. We still have openings in March and during the first week of April. Check out the calendar here.
