Spring Equinox

Today is the Spring Equinox. The word equinox comes from the Latin words for “equal night”—aequus (equal) and nox (night). On the equinox, the length of day and night is nearly equal in all parts of the world as the sun is directly overhead at the Equator. With the arrival of the equinox, those of us in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy the increasing sunlight hours, with earlier dawns and later sunsets. Tonight will also feature the “Super Worm Equinox Moon”, the final super moon of 2019 where the moon appears larger and brighter because it is closer than normal to Earth. Anyone up for some Spring corn skiing followed by a full moon ski?
