Several of us from Monarch attended the Colorado Ski Country USA Annual Meeting in Denver this week. This conference covers industry news, education and strategy while providing endless networking opportunities. There was great representation from Colorado’s ski areas and others in the industry. The Double Diamond awards were presented on Thursday night and with further breakdown meetings on Friday. We are lucky to live in a state with such a thriving industry. It was announced that Colorado reached a record 13.8 million skiers (and still counting with a few ski areas still open) in Colorado over the 2018-19 winter season.
