The Slope Maintenance Department uses a hydro-seeder to revegetate soils that are disturbed during our summer mountain projects.  We utilize a weed-free, USFS approved mix of native grasses, fescues, and flowers during this process.  This machine can hold up to 1,000 gallons of water mixed together with the seed mix and a tacking mulch that helps bind it to the application surface mannapotheke.de/.  The tower gun is able to cover up to 1/3 acre per load and can project the mixture up to 180‘ away from the unit.
