Hey Monarch Skiers and Riders,

Opening day is approaching rapidly, in fact it’s TOMORROW! Let’s jump right into it so you know what to expect for temps, winds and sky cover. Should be very similar to today.

Lows 10-15F

Highs 28-32F

15-20 mph out of the West with Gusts of 30-35 mph

Sky Cover:

Mostly Sunny

Looking further into the future, a low pressure system will enter the region on Saturday mid-day bringing clouds and as of now, 1-2 inches falling late Saturday night into Sunday. It may not be as intense due to the axis of the low pressure system being to the north-Northeast of Monarch. We can expect winds to stay out of the west through the weekend. Temps will cool down as this low pressure system moves through.

On Monday we will dry out for the week until Thanksgiving. As of now, thanksgiving storm already shows 1-3 inches. Give or take a day or two around Thanksgiving. With it being 7 days out its hard to nail down exact details, but it’s good to see precipitation already forecasted this far out.

See you all tomorrow for opening day of the 2018-2019 ski and ride season at Monarch Mountain. Pray for snow!
