New year, more new snow

Good afternoon powder people,

Have some holiday calories to burn off? I know I do. What better way than to burn it off by skiing and riding here at Monarch Mountain! With fresh snow just about everyday this week the snow conditions are awesome! Guess what? There is more snow on the way!

A weak high pressure ridge replaces the cold front that pushed to the east early this morning. Cold and clear skies prevail through this evening as another low pressure system digs into the Southwest desert.

We will see similar results tomorrow as to what we saw last night. Light snowfall accumulation in the 1-4″ range with cold temps and light E-SE-S winds through the day on Friday. Skies clear for the weekend and one more storm early next week, New Years Eve- New Years Day, to truly close out the calendar year.

Thanks for reading and pray for snow!
