The Monarch Cat Skiing snowcat operators started the process of building the over the snow roads into our permitted area. This operation usually takes several weeks to build out the entire system as the cat operators farm snow from our snow fences and fetch fields to use for the roads. The system of roads includes drop-off roads on the ridge lines and pick-up areas down below. The MCS permitted area covers both sides of the Continental Divide.
