All good things come to an end. Sunday will be our final day for the 2018-19 winter season We opened early (November 16th) and closed late (April 21st). It has been a great year with solid snowfall, lots of powder days, sunshine, great events, and good times with friends and family.

We have plenty on tap for closing day. The traditional Tailgate Cook-off will take place in the parking lot mid-day where local chefs showcase their talents and compete for a 2019-20 season pass. The Gunbarrel Challenge involves competitors racing up and down the original ski trail at Monarch. This event takes place at 1pm.

As a final bonus, Monarch Mountain is offering free skiing/riding for those 12 and under and free tubing for all.

Monarch Mountain is an equal opportunity provider and operates under a special use permit with the Pike San Isabel National Forest.
