The MLK weekend has had it all. Wild weather on Friday, powder skiing on Saturday and two beautiful warm days on Sunday and Monday. The skiing conditions have been ideal with full coverage on our terrain. Soft conditions in the open bowls and trees along with perfectly prepared groomed trails. As expected, we have seen lots of visitors this weekend including many utilizing their exchange days on other ski passes. I can’t blame them for wanting to avoid the I-70 areas over the holidays! Despite the busy traffic, the mountain seemed to handle the crowds with lift lines under 10 minutes, all cars/trucks fit into our lots without parking the public up at the Monarch Crest (where our employees park on busy days), and the trails spread out the crowds.
