Saturday was the full meal deal. We had a morning full of shoveling, bobcat work and snowcat grooming after the storm rolled out. In anticipation of a busy day, we parked employees up at the Crest (and eventually a few guests). We hosted the COSMIC uphill/downhill race in the morning and the Telefestivus event was going on all day. We had cloudy skies to start the morning before things burned off and it turned into a warm & beautiful day. The skiing was amazing everywhere. The groomers were soft and carvable and there were powder stashes everywhere else. As expected, we were busy. Nothing like the viral videos from up north, but we had a full house with the powder hounds chasing snow. Despite the pinch in parking, everything else ran smoothly and a fantastic day was had by all. The lull in the weather won’t last long as more snow is expected later today and looks to continue through the rest of the week!
