While it was a very busy month, January still seemed to fly by. The month brought a lot of smaller, but steady snow storms. The first day of February had some cloudy conditions with interesting light on the slopes. There has been plenty of good skiing out there over the last few days…Gunbarrel, Kanonen, Christmas Tree, High Anx, Pano Ridge trees, Shag, B’s, Mirage, Dire Straights, Tele Alley, Mirkwood. As good as the skiing is on our all natural snow, I’m always ready for the next pow day. We have a Winter Storm Watch in the forecast starting on Monday with a chance of snow into the week. It looks like February is off to a good start.
