The Caterpillars Program gives your little one their first taste of skiing. Geared to the developmental stage of preschoolers, Caterpillar instruction uses games to get students moving, sliding, having fun, and staying engaged. During cold or difficult conditions, classes may move indoors but will continue to focus on skiing movements and muscle memory training. Rest and bathroom breaks are taken as needed. Pre-registration is required.

Enjoy the mountain together! The Butterflies Program is for skiers and boarders ages 5 to 6 and an adult. The adult participates in each lesson and accompanies their child on the chairlift. In addition to developing the child's skiing or riding skills, instructors coach the adult in lift procedures, terrain selection, and continued practice. A half-day lift adult ticket is included in the lesson price. Pre-registration is required.

The Big Mountain Program is for competent youth skiers and boarders who are ready to sharpen their skills and learn techniques across all types of topography, styles and conditions including racing, terrain park, moguls, and steeps. Students participate in the weekly Town Challenge Race Series as part of their training. Supervised lunches are included. Pre-registration is required.

The Explorers Program focuses on tips and techniques for free riding and all-mountain adventure as well as skill-set development for successful terrain park maneuvers. During lunch, students share feedback and receive input from their instructors, get to know their peers, and collaborate on what they want to explore next. A supervised lunch is included. The Park Sessions Program is designed for skiers and boarders who want to pump up their park skills to the competition level. Students focus on developing skills and techniques in slopestyle, rails/boxes and jumps. Instructors teach concepts using the ATML model (Approach/Takeoff/Maneuver/Land). Lessons include slow-motion video analysis of students' runs.

Taught by women for women, our Women's Wednesday clinic is all about enjoying our glorious mountain environment with friends both old and new. In this non-competitive, collaborative environment, instructors teach skiers and boarders tips and techniques to help make bumps smoother, powder floatier, and cruisers carvier. Reservations are recommended.

Strictly Racing

Want to up your game for the Town Challenge? Here's your opportunity! You'll work on fast starts, quick edge changes, efficient line selection, and strong finishes in a competitive but friendly environment. This clinic, open to both skiers and boarders, is held on a course that is similar to the Town Challenge course. Reservations are recommended.

Women’s Edventure

Our day-and-a-half Edventure Clinic is a collaborative, supportive coaching environment that combines education and adventure. It is designed to help women who ski and ride green and blue runs develop the skills they need to take on more challenging terrain with confidence. Reservations are recommended.

Jack's Pack

Do you need a blue-to-black breakthrough? The Jack's Pack Program (for alpine skiers only) advances your skills in moguls and powder and teaches you to carve cruisers to ribbons. Led by the inimitable Jack Sciacca, Monarch's VP of Guest Services, Jack's Pack sessions propel your skiing to the next level. Reservations are recommended.

Free Heelin' Fridays

Free-heelers, join the Dance Party on Snow! These telemark-specific clinics develop proper technique for skiers of all levels, from never-evers to experts. Instruction is customized to ability. Reservations are recommended.

Program Policies

We do not offer refunds or make-ups for missed days.
This policy cannot be waived for any reason. However, students who miss a lesson are eligible to take a two-hour private lesson at half the full published price (redeemable only once per program regardless of number of lessons missed).

We do not reschedule program days due to bad weather.
This includes snow, sleet, cold, wind, solar eclipses and meteor showers. Severe weather is a possibility on any given day, so please plan accordingly.
