The Monarch Butterflies program is designed for skiers and snowboarders ages 5 and 6, and an accompanying parent, for children with no experience to those with some experience. The accompanying parent should be comfortable on skis and able to load/unload the chairlift.
A parent will need to attend and participate each day of the session. Instructors will work with kids in small groups to explore and have fun with the sports of skiing and snowboarding. This program is unique in that it facilitates both kids and parents having a playful time on the mountain together. Parents will be able to ride the lift with their kids, allowing the class to explore more of the mountain. In addition to focusing and developing the child's skills, the instructor will coach parents in terrain selection, lift procedures and successful facilitation of their child's skiing and riding experience. Each child will be issued a Monarch Season Pass.
