Lessons and Childcare

The Monarch Ski and Ride School is a Certified Member School of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Our methodology and teaching models are supported by decades of regional and national snow sports instructional development.

Monarch Mountain prides itself in guest satisfaction. Your friendly, knowledgeable instructor will work with you to develop a lesson plan that is based on your strengths and motivations. Whether you are coming to the sport for the first time, refining technique or are looking for tactics to get into the bumps, the trees, the powder or your first double black run, Monarch's Instructors will help you meet your goals. Our methods are guest centered and strength and outcome based.

First Timers

Learning how to ski and snowboard doesn't have to be hard or scary. Patient, friendly instructors and perfect terrain for learning, will have you coming back again and again. From age specific group lessons to our popular Stay Together - Play Together packages, we make learning fun!

Private Lessons

Let's face it, some people learn faster and easier in a "one on one" setting. Our private lessons are flexible and designed to provide a personal touch for obtaining your goals and objectives. Specific instructors available upon request.

Group Lessons

Whether you're new to the sport or looking to brush up on technique, our group lessons are designed to turn you into a real skier or snowboarder! From age specific packages to our new Mountain Adventure programs, we are passionate about your success.

Seasonal Programs

You've graduated from the bunny slope and are ready to explore what the mountain has to offer. We've developed several exciting multi week programs for both youth and adult. Whether you ski, snowboard, or telemark, you'll find exciting options waiting to take you to the next level.
