Getting Here

From Denver:
From the junction of E-470 and US Hwy. 285, travel South on Hwy.285 for 123.3 miles to US Hwy. 50. Travel West on Hwy. 50 for 13.5 miles to a right into Monarch Mountain.

From Colorado Springs:
From the junction of I-25 and CO 115 (Nevada Ave.), travel South on CO-115 for 31.2 miles to US Hwy. 50. Travel West on Hwy. 50 for 86.1 miles to a right into Monarch Mountain.

From Albuquerque:
From the junction of I-25 and I-40 head north on I-25/US 84 for 55 miles to junction of US 285/US 84. Travel west on US 285/84 for 36 miles. Turn north on US 285 and travel 109 miles to CO-17. Take CO-17 north for 50 miles to junction of US 285. Travel north on US 285 for 26 miles to junction of Hwy 285/50. Go west on Hwy 50 for 18 miles to a right into Monarch Mountain

From Salida:
The Salida Recreation Department offers a Ski Bus to Monarch Mountain on most Fridays and Saturdays between December and March for only $5 round trip. Bus leaves the Hot Springs Pool at 8:30 am sharp and then leaves Monarch at 3:30pm. Only children 10 years and older can ride without parental supervision.

From Gunnison-Crested Butte:
Fly into the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (airport code: GUC). From Gunnison head East on Hwy 50 (Tomichi Avenue) for 47.3 miles and make a left into Monarch Mountain.

If you are using a GPS to find our location, you will need to use the following address (as our physical address does not show up on most GPS): 22720 W. Hwy. 50, Salida.  If coming from the east, from this location you will drive another 4 miles southwest towards Monarch Pass.  Monarch is on the right.  If coming from the west, you will reach Monarch two miles past the summit of Monarch Pass on the left and four miles before reaching the GPS location
