Why Groups Love Monarch

Group Services

What makes a group?
In order to qualify for group rates and services your groups must have 20 or more skiers/riders per day (ages 7 and up) and the group leader must submit one form of payment for both deposits and balances. We are happy to take credit cards, checks or money orders for any payment. All prices include tax. Tickets and Vouchers
No waiting in line at a ticket window for you and your group!
When you order your tickets in advance through the Group Sales Department, we will have them ready and waiting the morning of your first ski day. If you would like to have your tickets and vouchers delivered to your lodging or mailed in advance, please make arrangements with your Group Sales Representative.

Rentals
Pre-set rentals get you in and out of our rental shop quickly, so you can enjoy the snow!
With your reservation, our slope-side Rental Shop will have all your equipment pre-set when you arrive. Overnight equipment storage is always included with your group rental. No lugging wet skis and boards back and forth from your hotel!

Lessons
Our instructors are diverse, productive and fun for all ages and abilities!
Discounted group lessons are available for anyone in your group from beginners to those wanting to take their skiing or riding to the next level. Meals
Whether you get your java fix at Starbucks, grab a sizzling burger from the Gunbarrel Grill or if you just want to sit down, relax and enjoy a meal at the Sidewinder Saloon - Monarch has something for everyone!

Gunbarrel Lunch Vouchers - Lunch Vouchers are great if you don’t want to worry about your group having cash for lunch each day of the trip. The cost is $15.00 and they can choose from Gunbarrel Grill’s many great lunch items such as burgers, soup, chili, even pizza!

Box Lunches - Your choice of ham, turkey, or veggie sandwich prepared in a box style lunch is available for groups of twenty or more. The cost is $12.00 per lunch which includes a sandwich, bag of chips, cold drink and a cookie for dessert!

Dinner - You have numerous dinner options in the area, including a variety of restaurants and private caterers. If you want to have dinner arranged for your group, just let us know what you’re hungry for and we will be happy to assist you. Since we are all locals we’d be happy to recommend our personal favorites!

We have a variety of lodging options in the area. Choose from a hotel, cabin, condo or even a quaint B&B. Let us know what type of lodging you are looking for and the type of accommodations (pool, meeting room, kitchen, etc) you will need and we will help you find the perfect location for your trip. Group Forms
Let us get all the details planned for you before your arrival!
Once you are ready to plan your ski vacation contact the Group Sales Department and we will email you a Group Reservation Packet. The earlier you can get us your ticket, rental and lesson information on each group member, the faster we’ll get you on the slopes. To request a Group Reservation Packet please fill out the Inquiry Form.

Upon Arrival
Where to go and what to do when you get here:
Upon your arrival, Guest Services will direct you from the parking lot to our new group meeting area. One of our staff members will give your group a brief orientation, pass out lift tickets, vouchers and answer any and all questions your group may have. Then we escort your group to the rental shop to pick up your pre-set equipment, once everyone has their gear you are ready to hit the slopes!

Group Friendly Terrain

Group leaders love our mountain because all of our runs lead into the central base area which makes it easy to gather groups for meals or meet up for departure.
With our all natural snow and diverse terrain we offer plenty of groomed runs for your beginners, varied terrain for your intermediate skiers and riders, as well as extreme terrain for the truly adventurous in your group. For those who want to rip it up, they can play in one of our Terrain Parks on the fun boxes, rails, hips, spines or even try to catch some air on one of the Big Hits. One of the beauties of our Terrain Parks is the low key attitude so even the youngest “rippers” won’t feel intimidated.
