Venders and their demos will be located at the base of the mountain and available for anyone to try out their equipment throughout the day. Salida Holiday Festival

From 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm shops will be open with festive happenings including old fashioned caroling, marshmallow roasting, tractor pulled hay rides, prizes for favorite Christmas attire contest, plus chances to win one of two vacation packages.

Fireworks over Monarch on New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Show

36th Annual Torchlight Parade and Firework Show. Festivities will begin around sunset with music, food, drink specials and an incredible firework display. Guests sign up at the Guest Service Desk to participate in the Torchlight Parade, a signed release waiver is required.

Monarch's signature event has contestants race head to head down a specifically designed course featuring berms, banks, bumps and ending in a icy pond. This is as fun to watch as it is to race.
