Monarch Snowmobile Tours & Rentals

LMST buildingocated 18 miles west of Salida and just minutes from Monarch Ski area, we have everything you need for a great snowmobiling adventure. We offer a wide variety of guided tours in and around the historic and scenic areas of Garfield, Monarch and Monarch Ski Area. No matter what your snowmobile skills or level of experience, we have the ride for you. For experienced snowmobilers wishing to explore the mountain on their own, snowmobiles are available to rent.

Whether participating in a guided tour or renting, you'll be invigorated by the crisp, clear air as you ride through a winter wilderness while enjoying the awe inspiring views of the surrounding 14,000 foot mountain peaks and the panorama of the valleys below.

Noah’s Ark Colorado Rafting

Experience Colorado’s #1 rafted river!  In addition to half day, full day and overnight fun-filled whitewater rafting trips, Noah’s Ark offers rock climbing, backpacking, hiking and our latest addition, the Browns Canyon Adventure Park.

Noah’s Ark recruits guides nationwide based on leadership and passion for the outdoors. In everything they do, these extraordinary, service-oriented guides are ready to serve you. Trips occur daily from our private riverside put-in, located six miles south of Buena Vista, Colorado. Your Noah’s Ark adventure will be ‘miles from ordinary’, but conveniently located close to Denver, Colorado Springs and Summit County. Our adventures run from early May through late August.

Browns Canyon Adventure Park

browns signLocated six miles south of Buena Vista on the banks of the Arkansas River, Browns Canyon Adventure Park is unlike any other aerial adventure park in Colorado. Zip, jump, swing and crawl your way through 66 unique challenges suspended alongside the Arkansas River just upstream of the Browns Canyon National Monument. With multiple courses to choose from, participants can pick the level of adventure and difficulty that best suits their age and taste.

The Browns Canyon Adventure Park is full of excitement for ages 7 and up. The park is open daily May through August. Off season availability is subject to group size and weather. The park is owned and operated by Noah's Ark Whitewater Rafting, specializing in group and family Colorado adventures since 1983.

Captain Zipline Aerial Adventure Park

Soar over a spectacular canyon and explore the majestic Rocky Mountains on Colorado's first World-Class Zipline Tour, rated as one fo the "Top 10 Ziplines in America" by USA Today. Suspend your fear and fly back in time over ancient kiln ruins and silver mines with 14,000 ft. peaks above. Glide between 300-million-year-old cliffs on seven cablees that get longer and faster as you gain confidence. Ages seven and up can enjoy this family-friendly adventure that looks extreme, but almost anyone can do! Open year-round.

Take the the air in the Aerial Adventure Park, the largest of its kind in Colorado, and challnege yourself on nine courses and 120 elements. Test your mettle as you cross catwalks, swinging bridges, cargo nets, tight wires, rope, and cable swings. Courses are linked combination elements and are rated with color codes just like a ski area.

The five ski areas in Germany and Austria under one name include, Hochkossen, Kampenwand, Wendelstein, Oberaundorf, and Hochfellen. Monarch pass holders receive unlimited skiing and riding at these areas.


Your Monarch Mountain season pass will allow you to ski Alta at half price for any three days you choose. Located in the Wasatch Range of Utah and synonymous with epic snow conditions, Alta is a must for any serious skier.

Angel Fire Resort

We've teamed up with this great Northern New Mexico resort to offer our season pass holders three free days of skiing and riding. Enjoy this family orientated ski and snowboard vacation destination located in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. No black-outs.

Arizona Snowbowl

Located high in the San Francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff Arizona Snowbowl welcomes skiers and riders with an average of 270 inches per season. This year, Monarch pass holders receive half price lift tickets! Blackouts: 12/26/14-1/4/15.


Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, Cataloochee is a favorite of those who enjoy a variety of trails and one of the best snowmaking systems in the South. Night skiing and riding is also popular. Pass holders receive one free day with no black outs.

China Peak

Located high above the central California town of Fresno, China Peak is offering our pass holders 1 free day of skiing and riding. When the forecast calls for one of those epic Sierra dumps, head on up to China Peak.


Formerly known as Purgatory, and still called that by locals, Durango Mountain Resort is offering our season pass holders three free days with no black-out dates. Take a trip to this southwestern Colorado gem and discover charming downtown Durango, the local hot springs, and incredible scenery at every turn.

Grand Targhee

Located on the west side of the Tetons in Wyoming, Grand Targhee is synonymous with big dumps. Averaging over 500 inches of light dry powder per season the "Ghee" welcomes pass holders with 3 free days in conjunction with lodging. Please call 1.800.targhee for availability and reservations.

Labrador Mountain

Labrador Mountain is located about 30 minutes south of Syracuse and is one of Central New York’s finest and largest family ski areas. Labrador offers 22 varied slopes and trails for all level skiers and boarders. One free day of skiing or riding with no blackouts.


Enjoy three free days at Loveland this year with your season pass. Towering above I-70 along the Continental Divide, Loveland is a true local's mountain. With one of the longest seasons in Colorado, you are able to ski/ride 3 free days even after we're closed. No black-outs apply.


Linked to La Molina in the Arc 2500 area and close to the French and Andorran borders, Masella is located on the northern slope of Tosa d'Alp overlooking the Cerdanya Valley in Spain and is only 90 minutes from Barcelona. An impressive 3068 vertical feet of skiing awaits our pass holders who receive three free days with no black outs.

Mount Bohemia

Mount Bohemia in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a destination resort that offers expert skiers and snowboarders real adventure. Whether its launching off the legendary Apex or Horseshoe chutes or cruising the many back country glades, Mount Bohemia is unlike any other ski area in the Midwest. Pass holders receive one free day.

Mt Crescent Ski Area

Located in the Loess Hills of western Iowa, Mt. Crescent Ski Area is just 15 miles northeast of Omaha, Nebraska. Mt Crescent provides Midwest skiers with a variety of slopes to both intrigue new skiers and challenge experienced ones. Your Monarch season pass is good for one free day of skiing or riding. No blackout dates.


Tucked alongside the northern edge of Western Colorado's beautiful Grand Mesa, Powderhorn Mountain Resort offers breathtaking views, over 1,600 acres of mountain terrain. Powderhorn averages over 250 inches of light, dry Colorado powder each winter and also boasts some of the best tree-skiing in the state. Monarch pass holders receive 1/2 price tickets. Blackouts: 12/26/14-1/4/15.

Red Mountain Resort

Located in the Kootenay Range of south-central British Columbia, Red Mountain is synonymous for tree skiing and powder days. An easy 2.5 hour drive from Spokane will get you to nearly 3000 vertical feet of the goods. Backcountry gates lead to incredible stashes that take you right back to the lifts. Red River

Tucked away in a corner of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, Red River is a true Old West ski area. Lifts that come right down to town greet skiers and riders with abundant snow. Monarch pass holders receive 3 free days. Blackouts: 12/26/14-1/4/15.


Located only 12 miles from South Lake Tahoe, this gem in the rough, features 2000 acres, 2200 vertical feet, and an average of 480" of snow each season. Known as a great place for tree skiing and a laid back atmosphere, Sierra-at-Tahoe is offering our pass holders one free day. Sunday through Friday and non-holiday only.

Silverton Mountain

Monarch Mountain season pass holders will receive one free day of unguided skiing/riding either early or late season. Known for the steep and deep, Silverton Mountain is an advanced destination in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.
Valid: Unguided season only.

Ski Cooper

Located on Tennessee Pass outside of Leadville Colorado, Ski Cooper serves up laid back turns and crowd free lifts. A family friendly ski area with a locals feel. Monarch pass holders receive 1/2 price tickets.  Blackouts: 12/26/14-1/4/15.

Snow Creek

Located north of Kansas City in Weston, Missouri, Snow Creek offers skiing, riding and tubing as well as a terrain park and night skiing. Monarch Mountain season pass holders will receive one free day at Snow Creek with no blackout days.

Snowy Range

Located just west of Laramie, Wyoming in the Medicine Bow Mountains, Snowy Range is the perfect place for families looking to escape the crowds and cruise the stress-free slopes all day long. Monarch pass holders receive one free day with no black outs.


Nestled in the mountains outside of Glenwood Spring, Sunlight serves up the goods without the crowds. This year Monarch season pass holders can enjoy three 1/2 price tickets at this great area. Couple that with a soak and stay package, and you've got yourself a great getaway. Blackouts: 12/26/14-1/4/15.
